- Audio Visual Field Engineer
Description
The Field Engineer role is an Audio Visual subject matter expert that a key contributor to the overall success of an Audio Visual project both technically and as a site-lead.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide support for technicians assigned to the project, and mentor them as they perform their duties
Provide installation of systems as required
Provide advanced troubleshooting and commissioning of systems
Program audio DSP processors as required, and provide advanced setup and adjustment of the processors
Upload control code to systems for onsite testing and commissioning
Perform onsite changes to control code as needed while on the phone with the programmer or manufacturer
Provide guidance to technicians in situations of difficult mounting or structural obstacles
Assist with testing and troubleshooting as needed
Perform ALL duties as a Site LeadMaterial Pick Ticket Request
Project Execution/Productivity (Labor Time)
Redline Drawing/Labeling
Site Safety Compliance/PPE
Construction Meetings/Walk Through
Site Housekeeping
Test Results
Onsite Work Permits
Punch Walk/List Generation (Substantial Completion)
Daily Progress Reports
OJT Implementation
Project Commissioning
Maintain current industry knowledge and certifications
Drive on company business and assume responsibility of a company vehicle as needed and allowed
Represent NCS with professionalism and integrity
Perform all assigned duties Safely adhering to the highest Quality standards
Provide the highest level of customer service with continuous communication (verbal and written)

Skill Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); five plus years of related experiences and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
5 + years of related industry experience
Current, valid driver’s license
Ability to travel
Authorized to work in the United
Excellent written and verbal communication
Demonstrated problem solving
Submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen

For safety reasons, use of appropriate PPE to avoid situational hazards must be used for example hard hat, steel toed shoes etc. as required
